About the event
Et nova sint omnia" – An extraordinary show at the Carini Castle in honor of the 460th anniversary of the death of Laura Lanza di Trabia, Baroness of Carini.
On December 4th, at 5pm, the Carini Castle will be the stage for an unprecedented event, a show entitled "et nova sint omnia", translated as: "and may everything be new". The performance invites the public to experience a new story, and to rediscover the history of the Baroness, offering an original, fresh and engaging interpretation of one of the most fascinating episodes of local history.
Through a mix of acting performances, music, dance and puppet theatre, we aim to transport the audience on an exciting journey. An engaging experience, aimed at casting a new interpretation on an ancient, but always current, chapter of Sicilian history.
Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this show, which intends to celebrate the legendary figure of Laura Lanza di Trabia exactly in the places where she was the protagonist of the amaru casu, a story that has not ceased to have strong repercussions in Sicilian culture for 460 years (and not only).
