The show celebrates Christmas With this show Coral Arte Flamenco brings to the stage the most traditional palos (styles) of flamenco, also drawing on the Spanish Christmas tradition, which finds its maximum expression in the Villancicos or Campanerillos. These songs were born as profane songs sung in choir, over time they began to be sung in the Churches, they are endowed with enormous communicative power and capable of involving anyone who participated in the traditional Christmas gatherings, the lyrics of the Campanerillos have many affinities with our Sicilian novenas, a testimony that two centuries of Spanish domination have left an indelible trace also in our musical heritage. The show in question, between music, songs and dances of the Andalusian tradition, will transport the public into the atmosphere of the tablao of Seville or into the traditional Christmas gatherings which take place everywhere Andalusia, moving from moments of extreme pathos to festive and lively moments.
